G. W. Bridge

GWB. New York. 2005.
It's getting sufficiently cold that even the prospect of crossing the bridge for a bike ride (which takes all of 10 minutes from home) is of waning appeal. The George Washington Bridge is a monochrome megabridge on a different scale than the East River counterparts.

Look Sharp

Bradley's. Savannah, GA. 2005.

Savannah, Georgia is a beautiful city with well-known public squares, public spaces, historic homes, etc. But there's plenty of interest on or off the beaten path. Bradley's locksmith and gun shop will fix anything but a broken heart and sharpen anything but your wits.

Building blocks

One New York Plaza. New York. 2005.

A favorite of mine among building shots. Standard angle, relatively boring building, but get the right light and a funky pattern going and office buildings can be interesting. I like the repetition of the block windows, contrasted by the haphazard window shades on the first floor. This is One New York Plaza in lower Manhattan.

But the branch office is open..

Based on the comment from the anonymous lecteur in Montreal, I recognize there may be some value yet in maintaining a blog page in addition to the archive at Flickr.

So, we continue with the blogger branch office here, offering today another image from Pequea, PA. Just two examples of what one might find parked in front of his weekend getaway house.
